BEIJING, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping sent on Wednesday a message of condolence to his Lebanese counterpart, Michel Aoun, over the huge explosions in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
In the message, Xi extended warm congratulations and best wishes to President Lukashenko on his re-election on behalf of the Chinese government and people as well as in Xi's own name.
In his most recent exclusive interview with Xinhua, Wang called on the U.S. government to give up its failed attempts to destabilize the country and to respect China's socialist system.
The airport has received flight resumption plans from both Chinese and ROK airlines.
Today's China is not the former Soviet Union and China has no intention of becoming another United States, noted Wang.
BEIJING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- China will continue to expand its opening-up and optimize the business environment with an aim to provide more opportunities for companies around the world, a spokesperson said Thursday.
"The U.S. has frequently abused state power to wantonly suppress non-American firms under the pretext of national security. This is blatant bullying behavior, which China firmly opposes," the spokesperson said, noting relevant U.S. moves have drawn criticism and doubts from many people within the United States and the international community.
